Picanol rapier looms
A rapier carries each pick of weft across the shed. Gentle on yarn and quick to change, it suits dobby stripes, bedford cords, ottoman and fancy designs.
31 Picanol rapier and 56 Toyota air-jet looms weaving greige cloth in Anondi, Madhabdi, at up to 2.20 lakh yards a month.
Our weaving shed runs two complementary loom platforms. Rapier looms give us flexibility for dobby designs and heavier cords; air-jet looms give us speed and consistency on volume twills and plain weaves.

A jet of compressed air fires the weft through the shed at high speed. Ideal for long runs of twill, poplin, sheeting and canvas with even, clean cloth.

Rows of looms run side by side under one roof in Anondi, Madhabdi. Every loom carries a signal tower, so operators spot a stopped machine at a glance and get it weaving again.
Walk through the millEvery structure we weave starts as a draft on point paper. A filled square means the warp lifts over the weft. Pick a weave to see the draft and the cloth it makes.
